Arsenal Hill Columbia Church

“It means a lot that the congregation here has trusted us to take on this project. We don’t take that lightly.”

Madison, our Residential Project Manager, led his crew through the shingle installation process for this historical project in the heart of Columbia, South Carolina.

Each roofing project comes with its own set of needs and varying challenges from the surrounding environment. Some of the challenges Madison’s crew faced were deteriorated decking due to the building’s age, as well as the counter flashing metals that needed to be removed, fabricated, and installed upon completion. Another factor of this project was the high volume of people and vehicle traffic surrounding the building, which required a ground monitor system, barricade system, as well as site specific locations for off and on-loading the roof with materials to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

The final stages included installing the counter flashing and conducting a thorough ground clean up. Madison’s last and final quality inspection wraped up this project. We’re thankful for many historic projects such as this one in our beautiful hometown of Columbia, South Carolina.
